Malaga defender Weligton has explained why he lashed out at Barcelona star Lionel Messi during their 0-0 draw. On 81 minutes, Messi ended up on the floor after a slap form the defender.
Weligton assured "He called me a son of a b****".
The Barça players thought the defender was deserving of a harsher punishment and complained. Gerard Piqué was shown a yellow card for his comments.
