Malaga defender Martin Demichelis would welcome a return to River Plate.

Demichelis believes there is a strong possibility that he will head back to his first club.

"I have always said that I want to end my career at River, but I have to wait and see what happens," Demichelis told radio programme Rock & Closs.

"It doesn't depend on me, but the chance of returning is very big.

"But I don't want to be in a hurry and don't want to be a prisoner of my words."
