Former Real Madrid midfielder Claude Makelele has backed their move for two French stars.

Makelele is happy seeing Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba and PSG striker Kylian Mbappe on Real's shopping list.

Currently in charge of Eupen in Belgium, Makelele said: "Mbappé and Pogba at Real Madrid? I like both, so if I can sign both I take both.

"But it's complicated because I think Mbappé will not leave now."

Like Pogba and Mbappe, Makelele is also a World Cup winner.
