Mainz sports director Rouven Schröder admits they won't block Yunus Malli from leaving in January.

The Turkey international was an August target for Tottenham and Southampton - and Schroder says they're now prepared to sell.

After meeting with Schroder, Malli's uncle, Ilhan, expects a January move.

"Should they get an interesting offer, Mainz will put no obstacles in the way," he told Foot Mercato.

"We are open in terms of interested clubs. So far there are no offers, at least nothing concrete."

Next summer, Malli's contract will trigger a fixed €9 million buyout clause, though next month there is no set fee attached to his sale.
