Douglas Maicon will be staying with AS Roma this season.
The former Manchester City and Inter Milan fullback has been forced to rubbish reports in recent weeks of a contract dispute with Roma management.
Maicon returned to training this week at Trigoria and held brief talks with Roma sports chief Walter Sabatini.
The pair are happy with the situation and Sabatini has scheduled talks for September with Maicon's management about a new deal.
Both parties are relaxed about Maicon's status.
