Christian Maggio has hailed the passionate support of Napoli fans.

Inter Milan were closing down on the top two in Serie A, but fell to a 1-0 defeat against Juventus.

Midfielder Maggio said: "It's too early to say who the other rivals for the Scudetto are, but I can say I was happy Inter lost. A win against Juve would've got them too close to us.

"There is great satisfaction and enthusiasm around Napoli. It's so wonderful to see our fans waiting until the early hours of the morning to celebrate with us.

"It's my third season at Napoli and I've seen everything, but the warmth of the fans is indescribable. They're right to be enthusiastic, as we have big ambitions."
