Maddison makes plea to Leicester fans

Leicester City star James Maddison has pleaded with the club's fans to keep up their support for the team this week.

Maddison, whose side lost 1-0 to Bournemouth on Saturday, knows they are in deep relegation danger.

The Foxes have been losing to teams around them in the table in recent weeks.

“We've got to lick our wounds and go again," he told LCFC TV.

“It's not done. It's not pretty at the minute. I think everyone can feel it's not the Leicester City we want to see out there at the minute.

“We're struggling a little bit in terms of the flow of the game. We want to be tough to play against but also play on the front foot but we're not getting the balance right at the minute.

“What I would say is stick with us, please, it helps so much when we feel the atmosphere. I speak on behalf of us, I appreciate everyone getting behind us. They're entitled to have their opinion.

“We'll keep going and will fight to the end. I know the fans don't see too much behind the scenes stuff but it means a lot to everyone.

“The dressing room is hurting. Nobody wants Leicester City to be in this position. What I would say is that if you are a Leicester City supporter, please stick with us. If you love Leicester, we need your support in the tough times even more than when it's good."
