Olympique Lyon winger Rachid Ghezzal has spoken of rejecting Everton last summer.

Ghezzal admits he considered an offer from Everton, before committing to OL.

He recalled to Canal Football Club: "We are negotiating (about a new contract) and we are getting closer.

"This is not just about money but about sport. I have a coach who trusts me, we have a good group, and I was not going to leave.

"The project of Everton is less attractive than OL's."
