Olympique Lyon winger Maxwel Cornet says he'll make a decision over his future after the African Cup of Nations.
Liverpool are now regarded as favourites to land the Ivorian, though Cornet is also in contact with Arsenal.
He told L'Equipe: "I had expressed the wish to go elsewhere, but the president (Jean Michel Aulas) made me understand that he was counting on me. We talked about an extension but we did not find common ground.
"So we decided to finish the season and see for if there's something concrete.
"We will see after the CAN (which ends July 19). Of course (I could stay). I made it clear to the president in January. We will see."
