Olympique Lyon sports chief Vincent Ponsot has detailed their swoop for Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette.
Lacazette will sign a three-year deal on July 1 when his Gunners contract expires.
At today's presentation, Ponsot said: "We are happy to be here. We have long discussed with Alexandre Lacazette for this new season. This is an important moment but not the last. We often talk about Lyon's DNA, we are looking for players involved in the club's project. It's easier with club-trained players.
"Alex is a first demonstrative stone on this. We made him participate in this project and he joined. Despite the non-qualification in Europe, he is interested by the project. I thank him for coming.
"We also want leaders involved in our project, these are the discussions we had with him."
