Olympique Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas says the door remains open to Karim Benzema returning.

The Real Madrid striker again scored in their Supercopa de Espana final victory over Athletic Bilbao last night.

Aulas said, "It is true that we are associated with his extraordinary success by the heart, by affiliation. And we say to ourselves that each time he scores one more goal and is as efficient, he is moving away from the day he will return to Lyon.

"Because hey, I don't see the president of Madrid letting go of Karim.
