Olympique Lyon are in talks to sign two Premier League players this week.

L'Equipe says Lyon are negotiating terms with Chelsea for the Italy's Euro 2020 winning left-back Emerson Palmieri.

Also the subject of talks is Liverpool attacker Xherdan Shaqiri, with an offer from OL already lodged.

OL have had a poor start to the season under new coach Peter Bosz and are eager to get both players through the door this week.

Bosz feels both Shaqiri and Emerson are better suited to his style of play than some of the players he's inherited this season.
