Lyon drop out of race for Arsenal, Man City target Gourcuff

Olympique Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas admits Bordeaux's asking price for Yoann Gourcuff is too steep.

Manchester City and Arsenal are also chasing the France international.

The 23-year-old, who is with Les Bleus squad at the World Cup, has been tipped to switch clubs over the next couple of months but Aulas is adamant he won't be moving to Stade Gerland.

He told L'Equipe: "We are interested in Gourcuff because we think he is a very good player but we are not in the market for him as the price ranges from 25 to 30 million euros."
