Luton boss Rob Edwards has dubbed Ross Barkley an "artist".

The former Everton midfielder is enjoying career best form this season.

Edwards, before defeat to Sheffield United, said: "He's an artist, really.

"He's a player who needs freedom. You have to let him do his things as long as he fulfills other things that are non-negotiable.

"He's worked hard and he has to feel that he's in his best moment."
