Aston Villa signing Antonio Luna wants to hit the preseason running.

Luna hopes to be in Paul Lambert's starting line-up for the opening two games of the campaign against Arsenal and Liverpool.

"The fact that it's two big clubs at the beginning is an extra motivation on top of the fact I am very, very keen to start the season with my new club," Luna told Villa's official website.

"Those two games add an extra point to my excitement at starting in the Premier League with Aston Villa.

"I really can't wait to get started. I have a great expectation coming here."
