Lukaku: Jordan had me ready for Inzaghi at Inter Milan

Romelu Lukaku admits brother Jordan had him prepared when first working with Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi.

Lukaku has returned from Chelsea on-loan at Inter, having previously played for the Nerazzurri under Antonio Conte.

He told Sky Italia: “He knows how to stimulate the players, he has found a way to awaken the lion inside me. He always provokes me and triggers a reaction, there's a great feeling on a personal level. We have a great relationship between coach and player.

“As I told him, my brother worked under him for many years at Lazio and he always got on very well with him. Last year we spoke a lot, then I left.

“But it applies to the whole team, there's not just the relationship between Romelu and the coach. There's the one between Inzaghi and all the players. We want to do well for this club and for the fans. We want to do well in the next six months and we are working towards that."

Jordan Lukaku played for Inzaghi at Lazio. He now plays in Spain with Ponferradina.
