Luiz keen for Chelsea stay, if Conte leaves...

According to Goal, David Luiz is keen to remain at Chelsea beyond this season if Antonio Conte leaves the club.

Conte has suggested that his relationship with the Brazilian is fine, despite the fact that he prefers to play the younger Andreas Christensen.

After being dropped for Chelsea's game against Manchester United at Stamford Bridge on November 5, Luiz has gone on to make just four starts which has led to speculation surrounding his future.

Luiz's last appearance for the Blues came during their 4-1 thrashing at the hands of Watford on February 5, a game in which he struggled to cope with the threat of Troy Deeney.

Since then, the 30-year-old has been out of action since then due to a knee injury and has travelled to Barcelona to see a specialist.

The Chelsea board are fans of Luiz as he has helped the club to win four major trophies during his two spells with the club.
