Departing Barcelona coach Luis Enrique insists he leaves without any ill feelings towards Lionel Messi.

Enrique ended his three years in charge winning the Copa del Rey on Saturday.

It was claimed Messi was never a fan of Enrique's coaching from day one, but the departing manager insisted: "Messi is an alien at all levels, and I'm very fortunate to have been able to enjoy the best or one of the best versions of him.

"Undoubtedly he is the number one in the world, and to be, you must be very strong physically. He takes full care of himself, there is still much to expect from him."
