Lucas Moura: My Spurs start thanks to excellent club culture

Tottenham ace Lucas Moura is determined to prove his quality in England.

The Brazilian has hit the ground running at Spurs, scoring his first goal in a 2-2 draw with Rochdale in the FA Cup 12 days ago before playing a key role in three of Tottenham's six in the fifth-round replay on Wednesday.

"It's very difficult," he told ESPN Brazil. "First time I played with so much snow like that. Even more as Brazilian, used to heat, it's very difficult. My finger was almost falling off!

"But it was cool, I think it was an important result. We have the goal of winning this cup. And even more that I just arrived, so I want to win, I want to conquer, I want to make my story here."

He added: "[My start] also has to do with the reception I had here. They all welcomed me with open arms. Both the technical staff and the players. So that made me very comfortable, very happy about it. The most important thing is that I am very happy.

"I spent a very difficult seven months at PSG, I was not playing, I was training and going home, so it's difficult for a player.

"So when that opportunity to play in a big team like Tottenham came, and when I got here I saw the facilities and the players, it got me very excited. So that's how I said, very happy about it."
