Javier Lozano will join the football staff at Real Madrid today.

Lozano will resign from his position with the Spain national team to take up a first team coaching job at Real.

The appointment is sponsored by Real sports chief Pedja Mijatovic, who will count on Lozano reorganising training, co-ordination with the lower rank teams and even becoming an official spokesman for the players when necessary.

Lozano is regarded as one of Spain's most talented and recognised coaches.
