Germany coach Joachim Low is confident Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira will fight back from his knee injury.

Khedira is out for the season after breaking down against Italy last week.

"If anyone is capable of coming back from such a bad injury it's Sami Khedira," Low stated.

"He's a natural-born fighter: it's in his spirit. We'll just have to be optimistic, like him."
