Germany coach Joachim Low remains hopeful of taking Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira to the World Cup.

The Germany international is recovering from a serious knee injury.

"I spoke with Sami three days ago. He's doing well, taking part in light training at the gym and there have been no setbacks in his recovery," said Löw.
