Peter Lovenkrands feels he still has something to offer Newcastle United.

The Dane is off contract in June.

He told the Evening Chronicle: "It's been a bit tough for me personally this season.

"I started well and scored three goals in four games, but since then I haven't had a lot of time on the field.

"The new boys Demba Ba and Papiss Cisse have been going well, and I've just got to keep working well and hopefully I'll get another chance."
