Lotito insists Lazio will not be sold

Lazio president Claudio Lotito insists he won't sell the club.

Lotito has upset fans with his transfer policy.

"I put a lot of money into Lazio," he told Il Messaggero newspaper. "In 2004, to take 21 per cent of the shares, I paid €25m. Then to reach 70 per cent I needed another €100m. That's how I became President of a club that only had €1.070m.

"How much is Lazio worth now? I never thought about valuing it, as I never considered selling either and I will never sell Lazio."
