Lorient defender Lamine Kone is interesting Sunderland.
Sunderland are considering a January swoop for Kone, according to the Daily Star.
Kone was linked with Newcastle United last summer.
The 27 year-old centre-half is Paris-born, but is an Ivory Coast international.
