Lorient and Man Utd agree Van de Beek deal

Manchester United have agreed to a loan offer from Lorient for Donny van de Beek.

The Dutch midfielder is out of favour at the Old Trafford club, despite being injury-free since preseason.

Van de Beek, who worked with United boss Erik ten Hag at Ajax, has not yet accepted the move.

Per Foot Mercato, the French club are now speaking with the Dutchman about the possibility of signing on loan.

They do face competition from several clubs for his signature, according to the source.

Van de Beek was linked to Real Sociedad earlier this summer, but no transfer materialised.
