Social media has been flooded with tributes to former Bolton Wanderers chairman Phil Gartside after he passed away aged 63.
Gartside, who joined the club in 1988 and served as club chairman from 1999, lost a short battle with cancer on Wednesday.
A host of current and former Bolton Wanderers players have taken to Twitter to pay tribute to Gartside in the past 24 hours.
Phil Gartside lived for BWFC and poured his passion and emotion into the club. He was a friend and someone I will always hold in high regard
