Saint Etienne skipper Loic Perrin retains hope of moving to Arsenal.

But Perrin claims he has heard no word from the Gunners since December.

"My agent had serious contact with Arsenal before Christmas," he said.

"There has been no more news since then and as such my departure has been compromised.

"It's not a good sign."
