Loic Mbe Soh explains leaving PSG for Forest

Loic Mbe Soh is expected to leave Nottingham Forest at the end of the season.

The defender is on-loan at Almere City and off contract in June.

Speaking to PSG's official website, he said of leaving the French giants: “I played and grew up there for seven years. Obviously, it was like a heartbreak, because Paris gave me everything. Thanks to the club, I had a wonderful experience that can never be taken away from me, but it was time for me to embark on a new adventure.

“I needed to make something of myself, to get out of my comfort zone. So I opted for England, a risky gamble far from home, but a well-considered one."

Of his time at Almere, he added: “I've played around 20 games in all competitions. I'm happy because I came here to get some game time. I'm trying to make my way in the professional world.

"It hasn't always been easy for me because I've had to deal with a few injuries. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger! Paris has given me the mental strength to keep getting back up. I've always had big ambitions, and that's never going to change."
