German side Borussia Monchengladbach are planning a surprise double move for Andreas Christensen and Ruben Loftus-Cheek, according to reports from the Daily Express.

Chelsea defender Christensen has impressed during his time on loan at Monchengladbach and with the Dane's temporary agreement at Borussia Park set to expire at the end of the season, the Bundesliga side are currently said to be preparing to make a permanent move for the £14million-rated centre back.

In addition to Christensen, it is understood that Gladbach are also interested in Chelsea youngster Loftus-Cheek and Die Fohlen are reportedly eyeing a loan move for the promising midfielder in the summer.
