LOAN WATCH: Stockdale returns to Fulham from Hull City

Fulham have recalled goalkeeper David Stockdale from his loan spell with Hull City.

The 27-year old joined the Tigers on November 22 and made five Championship appearances for Steve Bruce but Cottagers boss Martin Jol has decided to bring him back to Southwest London after Mark Schwarzer's back-up Neil Etheridge injured his leg in an U21 match.

"The club can confirm that goalkeeper David Stockdale has been recalled from his loan spell at Hull City with immediate effect and will resume training with Fulham from Thursday 20th December," read a Fulham statement.

"Stockdale made five appearance for the Tigers, helping them to earn 10 points and two clean sheets in the process."
