Paul Pogba would be a very good signing for Barcelona, claims his former teammate Fernando Llorente.

The Spanish striker, who played with Pogba at Juventus, believes it would also be a good move for the player.

Pogba has been linked with a move to the Catalan giants due to his deteriorating relationship with United boss Jose Mourinho. The pair have clashed through media statements, while an argument was also filmed on the training ground.

When asked about the possibility of a move, Llorente told Mundo Deportivo: "Why not?

"He is a huge footballer and still has a lot to offer. He is one of the best in his position and would be in one of the best teams in the world.

"Despite the noise which surrounds him, he is a great professional. I know him well from the two years that we shared in Turin and we have a very good relationship.

"It would be an impressive signing for Barca."
