Newcastle United managing director Derek Llambias insists they're not planning to offload Spanish striker Xisco in the summer.
Llambias told The Journal: "Xisco was not bought for this season. He was bought in to come in over the next year or so. He's 21 and in the next couple of years he will try to get in our first team. I don't have an assessment of him, he's played a couple of times for our first team.
"He's scored one goal when it came off the post and he just fell on it, he was in the right place at the right time and we aren't going to moan about that. I know it's a big lump of money to pay for the future, but we saw that as a big investment for the future."
