Freddie Ljungberg says Alan Curbishley is the right man in charge at West Ham United.

The former Arsenal star, who joined the Hammers at the start of the season, said: "I joined as I thought we were going to build something. That's the goal. We have had a lot of injuries but we are still up there and we are playing well."

Midfielder Ljungberg made his name at Arsenal when they used a 4-4-2 formation.

But he added: "It is fun to play in a 4-5-1 or a 4-3-3 at West Ham and it feels great."
