Liverpool striker Fernando Torres has urged former teammate Sergio Aguero to quit Atletico Madrid.

The Argentina international is a target for Manchester City and Chelsea and Torres told La Razon: "He is growing at a faster speed than Atletico and there will come a time when he realises he must leave.

"Aguero is young and soon he is going to realise that there is a ceiling at Atletico. If the club want to retain these type of players, they should grow at the same rate."
