Liverpool are to sign RB Leipzig midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai.

The Reds have agreed to pay a €70m fee for the Hungary captain.

The price marks Szoboszlai's buyout clause, which expired on Friday, but Liverpool appear to have met the option before the deadline. The Reds informed Leipzig of their intentions on Friday afternoon.

The midfielder's agents were in Liverpool on Thursday for talks, with terms struck.

Szoboszlai made 31 appearances in the Bundesliga last season, scoring six goals and registering eight assists
