Liverpool willing to take gamble on Copenhagen's Jorgensen

FC Copenhagen defender Mathais Jorgensen is being tracked by Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez.

Arsenal and Newcastle have looked at Jorgensen, 18, in the past, but have never followed up their initial interest.

However, Ekstra Bladet says Benitez is convinced Jorgensen can make it in the Premiership and is ready to move for the defender, who has less than two years to run on his existing contract.
