Interested clubs face a wait to speak with Celta Vigo attacker Gabri Veiga.

Barcelona, Liverpool and Newcastle are among clubs keen on the youngster.

But Veiga wants to wait until after Spain's U21 Euros campaign concludes before assessing his options.

Sky Deutschland's Florian Plettenberg reports: "Liverpool amongst the clubs interested in Gabri #Veiga. Talks with #LFC took place.

"More good talks with other clubs. Open race. Veiga, ready for a big step after the U21 Euros. Therefore no final decision yet.

"Release clause of around €40m."
