Liverpool have joined the interest in Udinese winger Alexis Sanchez.
The Chile international, who scored four goals on Sunday at Palermo, is a long-term target for Chelsea and Manchester United.
However, Udine sources say Liverpool are also keen after learning of Udinese's interest in Christian Poulsen.
The Reds are waiting for a formal approach from the Italians for Poulsen and will take advantage of the new communication line to discuss terms for Sanchez.
The Chile international is currently rated in the £25 million class by Udinese patron Gianpaolo Pozzo.
