Liverpool have joined growing interest in Sevilla defender Clement Lenglet.

AS says Liverpool are eyeing Lenglet as Virgil van Dijk's long-term partner at Anfield.

The Frenchman has been attracting interest from Barcelona with his impressive performances - and now the 22-year-old has caught the attention of Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool.

However, Barca are hoping to gazump the Reds by meeting his £40m buyout clause and could even begin talks as soon as this weekend.

Real Madrid are also said to be interested.
