Liverpool ace Luis Suarez admits he grew up idolising Gabriel Batistuta.

The Argentine was Suarez's hero as he learned his trade in Uruguay.

Suarez told liverpoolfc.tv: "For me it was Gabriel Batistuta. I think he was the best player. He was a number nine with plenty of character and he scored great goals."
