Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge will face an independent hearing after responding to his charge for breaching FA betting rules.

The Liverpool and England forward was charged in November after an investigation into bets placed in January 2018.

He was granted an extension to weigh up the charges having originally been asked to respond by 6pm on Tuesday, November 20.
