Liverpool striker Krisztian Nemeth's loan at Blackpool is being cut short.

Nemeth will undergo an operation this week after fracturing a cheek bone while playing for Blackpool in their 3-0 defeat to QPR on Tuesday night.

The Hungarian striker took a knock to the face a few minutes after coming on in the second half and now faces up to six weeks on the sidelines after a scan revealed he had suffered a fractured cheek bone.
