Liverpool striker Michael Ngoo says the NextGen Series has been a big benefit for him.

The Reds were knocked out by Tottenham last night.

Speaking before the game, Ngoo told liverpoolfc.tv: "It's a very exciting tournament. It's the first year of the NextGen Series, it's a quarter-final, so obviously it's one of the biggest games I've played in.

"It was nice to get a goal against Blackburn. It was a disappointing result, but my focus is now on trying to beat Tottenham."
