Liverpool starlet James Balagizi has temporarily returned to the club from his loan spell.

Balagizi was on loan at Crawley, but is currently back with the Merseyside club as he undergoes tests for an injury.

He had to withdraw from training with the League Two team Crawley last Friday due to an unnamed injury.

Per the Liverpool Echo, the issue was first caused while he was on international duty with the England Under-20s.

Now he will have to wait and see whether the issue is short or long-term.

If he is ready to play in the coming weeks, he will likely head back to Crawley.

However, a longer injury could mean his loan is terminated, until he can regain full fitness and potentially find another team.
