FC Utrecht striker Ricky van Wolkswinkel's collarbone break has put hopes of a move to England on hold.

Tottenham and Liverpool lead the chase to sign the 21-year-old, but the injury suffered in Europa League action at Anfield has cooled negotiations.

The player's agent Louis Laros told Dutch reporters: "There have been calls and contacts, but not any concrete offers.

"Ricky likes the English soccer and Liverpool or Spurs would be very important options."
