Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard is determined to get the club into a trophy-winning situation this season but wants to focus on the job at hand first.
The Reds are one game away from having the opportunity to play off for silverware in the Carling Cup when they meet Manchester City in the semi-final second leg tomorrow night but Gerrard, whose first-half penalty separated the sides a fortnight ago, is not thinking of the February 25 final against either Cardiff City or Crystal Palace.
"Of course it enters your mind and you dream about it; that helps when it comes to motivation.
"But I don't think any of our players will be getting carried away or thinking we've already done the job.
"We know this is a big game and a tough game.""(Wembley talk) has got to be banned because we haven't made it there yet," said Gerrard.
