Liverpool are set to sign Bobby Adekanye from Barcelona.

Reports suggest that the 16-year old winger will join the Reds from Barcelona this summer with the Catalan club still enduring FIFA restrictions for allegedly signing the player illegally.

Nigerian-born Adekanye spent last season on loan at PSV Eindhoven after joining Barca in 2011 from Dutch giants Ajax. He moved to Amsterdam with his family when he was four.

Furthermore, the Liverpool Echo suggests that the skillful and speedy Adekanye will undergo a medical at Melwood on Wednesday.
