Liverpool reserves coach Gary Ablett admits Adam Hammill will be sent away on-loan.

Hammill was superb in action on the weekend against Southport and Ablett told Liverpoolfc.tv: "We were saying on the bench how his first goal was similar to Yossi's (Benayoun) the day before, and we know Adam is capable of that. We know he has ability but we're just trying to get him to harness it in the right areas of the field.

"He is a character and the plan for him is to go out on loan again. There is interest from a couple of clubs and with goals like we've seen here you can understand why.

"He's been out at Southampton and Dunfermline, so reserve football isn't what he needs at this stage of his development."
