Luis Suarez is set to sign a new contract with Liverpool according to reports.
The Uruguayan striker has been linked with a summer departure in the past few weeks but will commit himself to the Anfield cause.
An accidental broadcast which surfaced on LFC TV reported that: "Liverpool today confirmed Luis Suarez has signed a new long-term contract with the club.
"The Uruguayan forward committed his future to the Reds by putting pen to paper on a deal on Tuesday afternoon.
"Following his involvement at the Olympics with Uruguay, Suarez returned to Melwood on...", then the broadcast stopped.
It is expected that the Merseyside club will make an official announcement this evening.
